How many episodes of disney's Mickey Mouse have you watched?
The very first cartoon i've ever read was mickey mouse! It's funny, amusing episodes (and some have even morals) are more than just a pass-time! If i start counting the episodes...i'll never reach the end. I've watched the same episodes at least two times each. The latest 3-D animated Mickey mouse and friends' show is yet another delight! So, how many have you watched? Which was the best episode?
Today is the 80th Birthday of Mickey Mouse... so let's celebrate it..
Did you know that today, November 18th is the 80th birthday of Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoon character. It is interesting to me that when he started out he was a rather nasty little mouse and was called "Steam Boat Willie" Here is one of the "Steam Boat Willie" Cartoons from 1928. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEEaT_UQnVM This is the Mickey Mouse Club from the 1970s... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILm6WSQGh_k This was from Mickey's 60th birthday and was just one of a series of videos still on you tube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lSpXE-xZTs4&feature=related I am wondering if any of you had any memory of Mickey Mouse or of the Mickey Mouse Club ... Please share them and join me in celebrating Mickey Mouse's birthday.
Which Cartoon show will you not want your child to watch?
As a mom, I influence my son as to which cartoon shows to watch. Right now, he loves Play House Disney's Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jojo's Circus, Bananas in Pajamas, Higgly Town Heroes and Bear in the Big Blue House. When he started watching tv, I veered him away from spongebob. I found the show too noisy for a kid under 1 year old. It's not that I don't like the show itself. What about you, are there kiddie shows you don't want your children to watch?
Do You like MICKEY MOUSE?Biography of a Mouse
MICKEY MOUSE, Walt Disney's most famous character, made his screen debut on November 18, 1928, as star of the first sound cartoon, Steamboat Willie. Since his debut, Mickey Mouse has become an international personality whose success laid the financial foundation upon which Walt Disney built his creative organization. Besides being the personification of everything Disney, Mickey Mouse has become one of the most universal symbols of the Twentieth Century. Mickey Mouse was born in Walt Disney's imagination early in 1928 on a train ride from New York to Los Angeles. Walt was returning with his wife from a business meeting at which his cartoon creation, Oswald the Rabbit, had been wrestled from him by his financial backers. Only 26 at the time and with an active cartoon studio in Hollywood, Walt had gone east to arrange for a new contract and more money to improve the quality of his Oswald pictures. The moneymen declined, and since the character was copyrighted under their name, they took control of it. "Do you like him? Tell Me your story...
